Hello everybody, for the ones who like to feel their ears and heart bleed, come and see me live with my band LUDD'S MEN at the 'Jardin de Verre'. It's an Apéro Cabotin, only 3€ in, at 6pm, on sunday 5th nov. Get there in time, live show limited to 120 people. See you there... Cheers
Now try to tell me those soccer guys are really hurt when they roll around on the ground for twenty minutes after nearly getting touched. I'm sorry, the end of the Australian Rules Football season makes me nostalgic.
Thanks for the poster Tim for the theatre module. I've left it rolled up in my pigeon hole so if anyone wants to have a look you can. It's very funny!!
Just one thing though it's a little dark. Could we have it on orange paper? It'd look brighter. Get Nadine to have a look and anyone else that's around and see what they think.
We intend to organise a meeting with people interested in going to Jersey. We are trying to make a nice poster about this meeting, which will be on November 15th, 8.00 pm.
Could you please inform your students (all levels) on that meeting, in case they don't see our poster.
If your students need some basic info, tell them that they would actually stay 2 nights in an English B&B in Saint Malo and go for one day to Jersey. We can't give a precise price yet, but it will be +/- € 150.
The trip would certainly take place in April, but not necessarily for Easter.
My name is Sarah Recci, I am married with 3 children (2 boys 9 & 7 and 1 daughter 4), currently living in Solihull. I enjoy socialising, theatre & film, and am interested in fashion and music, travelling – mainly skiing/snowboarding holidays, France, Austria & Canada.
This is a message for Tim. I was just thinking about our new theatre module and how we really need to do some advertising to get it off the ground....and for everything really.
Can you see if it's possible to put an article in some newspapers etc.
As I said the last one on the list was for me (Mr Kym Soni) but I have a replacement and I think he's married to one of the women already on the list:Mr Tony Stone

So he can do for the Inter G class (is it yours Tim?)
The other one Pat Brown is fine so here's the email: kirtonpat@hotmail.com
However, I still need the French students email so that I can keep an eye on them.
FOR VAL
I've got a teacher with 3 kids and she's 46 I'm not sure how old the kids are but I think it would be a good match. Her name is Jayne Bruno and her email is jayne_bruno@hotmail.com (please give me your students email thanks)
Let me know if you've got any "keen" students and give me their email too. I'll be first come first served. I'd really like it to get sorted before the holidays if poss so let's see how you're getting on....you can reply through the comments. Then I'll have something to read.
Hey u guys, listen, well, read, I spoke with my hubbie and he said it would definitely be possible to put some IML posters at Reanoudeau! So, hands on it!! Do you know if we can have some nice posters advertising a stage fast for high school students? I mean, the ones with the squeezed orange are ok, but I think that our target students need some more specific and attractive posters, whatya think?
Had a quick meeting together yesterday to discuss our ideas further. Here's a summary: . TOEIC info. It's possible for IML to become a test centre after arranging a training day for the likely examiners (English or non-English speakers). I have the costing details and forms to filled in if we're interested. One day's training for up to 12 teachers is 680 euros (HT) which can be refunded using the training budget apparently. 3 hours in the morning explaining the tests (TOEIC and TOEIC Bridge for lower level learners which could be very interesting, and the famous TOEFL which could interest students who want to go to study abroad) and 3 hours in the afternoon doing the test to see how it works. What does everybody think? Could also be interesting for job seekers through the ANPE. . English Club. We'd like to see continued on the following basis: - every 6 weeks approx. starting 12 November - Monday evening 8 to 9.30 - 2 teachers present preferably, if not 1 of course and different ones if poss. during the year - participants to choose subjects for discussion/debate before each session - place: IML - level from intermediate so it's less exclusive than just advanced
. FAST. Promote next FAST session for Débutant level 27/10
