There were 7 "ladies" present yesterday evening and me - where are all the men in Cholet? Someone presented their holiday in South Africa in December with photos and everyone asked lots of questions so it was interesting - v. good participation. Then had quite a heated discussion about the best way to prepare 'foie gras'. Food's always a good subject for discussion in France so next time it'll be favourite recipe time with pictures and if we're lucky some samples to test!! Next date is Monday 10 March.Val

It's always good to know the English Chat was a success. I'll mention next one in the Evènemensuel, as usual. Hope more people will attend... although that shouldn't be a problem as food is a French-magnet!!! ;-)
