There were 7 "ladies" present yesterday evening and me - where are all the men in Cholet? Someone presented their holiday in South Africa in December with photos and everyone asked lots of questions so it was interesting - v. good participation. Then had quite a heated discussion about the best way to prepare 'foie gras'. Food's always a good subject for discussion in France so next time it'll be favourite recipe time with pictures and if we're lucky some samples to test!! Next date is Monday 10 March.

English Chat next Monday

Happy new year to everybody - here's wishing you a healthy and happy 2008 with lots of lessons!
Just wanted to remind you that there's an English Chat on Monday 14 Jan at 8 pm to 9.30 pm so please remind your students and if any of you are available you're more than welcome. We'll be talking about a news item that has attracted your attention - any subject, and one of the group will be talking about her trip to South Africa in December.
