Ah Sport!

Hi Guys!

Can you help me?

A student of mine needs to know the following terms in English: minimes, benjamins, cadets and Juniors (I suppose Junior is Junior but does it correspond to the same level?)

I've tried to find these terms on the web but nothing really convinced me.

Thanks

Aline

I think it changes from country to country and probably from sport to sport we were divided by age group in Aust. for football and the levels weren't called anything except under 15's, under 17's etc. My response isn't particularly interesting but it's all I've got.

It seems to me that the 'under so and so' system was also used in football in the UK. But I'm not quite sure. Sorry Aline
